We stayed for 3 nights in the main house as the cottage wasn't available. We were greeted on arrival and given a tour of the house and shown to our room. Our room was larger than expected and could be accessed through the main house and also via the car park which was really convenient.
Free Wifi was available which was great as our previous accommodation did not have Wifi.
Our room was clean and comfortable with a great bath in the ensuite. A lovely addition of port and chocolates was also left in our room.
Brett and Janie were absolute treasures. They provided us with lots of helpful information and suggestions for day trips. We took their advice and their suggestion proved to be a much better day than the one we planned ourselves.
Janie cooked breakfast for us each morning which was delicious and we chatted to other guests at the communal dining table.
The location is terrific with reasonably priced restaurants located a short drive away in George st (la Cantina, Black Cow Bistro and prickly cactus were all fantastic. We didn't get to eat at Pierres but it looked very good also.) it is also a short drive to the Gorge and Wineries
The views from the property are stunning and there are some lovely little places to sit and enjoy some wine!

We stayed in the cottage for four nights. What a wonderful experience it was! The views were fantastic and the roses gorgeous. The patio was a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the moon rise over the Tamar. The cottage was spacious and immaclulately presented with every need catered for. Brett and Janey are the ultimate B & B hosts - very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfasts are a foodie's heaven - the experimental omelettes lived up to Brett's promise and his exacting standards. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for taking time out on your holiday to do your review of Trevallyn House. Very pleased that you enjoyed Brett's omlette. Might have to add it to the Breakfast Menu. Hope you have a great rest of your holiday in our lovely State and the weather is kind to you.

We stayed in the cottage in the garden. Very private and good facilities. Wifi didnt work in the cottage and we had to go to the main house to use the internet. Very comfortable guest lounge in the main house. Lovely cooked breakfasts and friendly, helpful hosts. Wonderful view over the Tamar Valley. Very quiet location but near to shops and restaurants.

My parents, husband and myself stayed in the cottage for one night. We arrived in the early afternoon and were attracted by the stunning view outside of the cottage, so we decided to go down to hill to Woolworths supermarket (just 5 mins walk) to get Tasmanian vegetables and beef to do the BBQ on the porch.

Pleasant weather, great food with wonderful view, we had a really happy evening.

This is not all. The next day breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever seen and had in my life. There were 5 or 6 main courses to choose from. Besides the main course, there were also fruit salad, cereal, toast tea, coffee, hot chocolate..... You can never believe it's a B&B breakfast!!

Five stars!!!

Room Tip: 2 bedroom cottage

This is easily the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in, and it is the only place we will stay on return visits to Lonnie. Every last comfort had been catered for. Even the scented oil in the bathroom was perfect. As for breakfast - it was amazingly good (Brett, that rosti is to die for!). Well done, Janie and Brett - this really is the best B&B we've seen. To everyone who is reading this - you HAVE to stay there!!!

Room Tip: The views from Unit1 are stunning.
