Stayed here with son for high school baseball tourney. Hotel is clean, free breakfast was good and very convenient and price was right. Most of all staff was great especially Michael at front desk. He went the extra mile to help us switch into hotel at midnight due to our room at adjoining Comfort Inn being unacceptable. Michael even took it upon himself to personally move a mini fridge into our room. Appreciate the great service!

First stay at the Holiday Inn on Kinser Pike but will look for other options in the future.

Pros - easy access to IU, friendly staff, clean, price was reasonable

Cons - Sleep number beds should be great but both deflated over night
TV constantly froze
Vast majority of work out equipment in the work out room was broken
Breakfast wasn't included - my error, I should have checked closer
No refrigerator or microwave in the room

We've stayed in many Bloomington hotels over the years and there are definitely better options available.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments after your recent stay with us, as our guest feedback is very important to us. We were very pleased to see that our location suited your needs and that you found the staff to be professional and friendly.
Please accept my sincerest apologies for the issues you encountered during your stay. We do have rooms with beds that are not Sleep Number, should you decide to give us another chance please let us know that you would prefer one of the rooms with the standard beds. Unfortunately there was a brief time period where both treadmills needed repair, all equipment has been repaired and in excellent condition.
We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future,

Sincerely,

I stayed here during BigTen Swimming and Diving Championships. Overall, the hotel was great. Rooms were clean, food was good, and staff very friendly. I am a massage therapist, and the rooms had a lot of furniture, so it was hard for me to set up my table. The staff was helpful in helping me rearrange some furniture, which helped. I had some sort of leak under the air system and the very cold outside air was coming into my room. The staff got me the extra blankets I requested with no hesitation. The sleep number beds were terrible in my opinion, and I know some of the swimmer's beds couldn't be adjusted as they no longer worked. Again, I can't complain too much. The main things that care about (cleanliness and nice staff) definitely passed the test.

Thank you very much for your hospitality and help with our team trip. Taking a team trip can be a very stressful endeavor, especially a championship meet. Your staff and kitchen made our stay incredibly easy and stress free. The food was excellent and the rooms were just what we needed. Any time we needed anything it was completed in a timely manner and without hassle. A special thanks to Dan, Jana and Teresa for your help during our stay. The next time we are in Bloomington we will be returning to your hotel.

Sincerely,

The University of Michigan Men's Swim Team Coaching Staff

Doing business in the Bloomington area I've stayed in this hotel multiple times. The staff is great, the breakfast and bar are great, rooms are updated and clean. Very close to the downtown square where there are a lot if nice restaurants. Breakfast is a REAL breakfast, not a bunch of microwaved food.
A big shout out to Dan who is always friendly and ready for good for conversation.
