We couldn’t have been more pleased. David was knowledgeable and personable. The kayaks were in great shape and very comfortable. He made sure we were all at ease in the water, he even had binoculars for each of us. He sent us a list of the birds we encountered including the bald eagle pair that we got to watch perched in a nearby tree. Overall excellent experience! Highly recommend.

During a September kayak trip on Lake Monroe, we saw 26 different species including great blue herons, a tree full of egrets, and a bald eagle at close range. David’s expert knowledge helped us to identify many types of warblers and shore birds.
We’d like to try one of David’s longer trips!

My experience with David in scheduling the tour was great; he was prompt and informative.
The tour was awesome with lots of bird views! We saw, up close, an Eagle that was perched in the open; it made our day! David is so knowledgeable and his passion for birds shines through!
It was my first kayaking experience and David was super helpful and conscientious about teaching me valuable pointers. His kayaks were comfortable and clean.
I highly recommend this kayaking bird tour! It was the highlight of our camping trip in the Bloomington, Indiana area!

This kayak outing was the perfect way to discover the early-summer birds on Lake Monroe. David was an excellent guide, and our group enjoyed a comfortable and engaging tour, spotting over 30 types of birds as well as other wildlife. We learned a lot about the history of the local area as well. Just a perfect morning!
