Had a great time. We saw many new birds for me. I liked the small size of the group. David was very knowledgeable and fun!! Definitely will take another trip with Indigo Birding.

My husband and I did a kayak trip with David and had the best time. We saw several birds we had not seen before. The highlight was seeing 2 juvenile eagles in their nest, one was jumping around and flapping his wings as if going through a practice session for flight. Then later we watched as an adult eagle caught a fish and then flew around us for several minutes. Other highlights were seeing a male Baltimore oriole and yellow and prothonotary warblers. I have been on IndiGo trips before and have always enjoyed meeting other fellow nature lovers and learned a lot from David about birds and the area we are In. Highly recommend his trips!

It was a real pleasure birding in Indiana with David's guidance. This was a first time visit for us to Indiana. We found him through an article he wrote in Bird Watching magazine about birding in Yellow Wood State Forest, Indiana. He was very prompt and responsive to our inquiries online and in person. Best of all he was truly excellent in his abilities and knowledge of birds and flora. With his help we were able to see almost all of the Spring migrating birds we had hoped for. Best of all we managed to spot some truly rare birds such as Cerulean warblers and even a Connecticut warbler. We highly recommend his service for both experienced and novice birders alike.

We were on a road trip through Indiana and were lucky enough to spend the day with David while in Bloomington. He picked us up at our hotel with a van packed with equipment and essentials and off we went into the Indiana countryside. It soon became obvious that David is an easy guy to get along with, everything was catered to our needs and requirements. The birding was not great but this didn't matter as David was very knowledgable about the history of the land and all things American so we learnt a lot about the culture of the area and the people who settled in Indiana. It was, without doubt, one of the highlights of our trip.

David is very knowledgeable about birds and other aspects of nature. He was an informative and entertaining guide. We were able to see a variety of birds as well as butterflies and frogs. He had clearly planned the trip in advance and was well prepared.
