These people were so nice to take a last minute reservation.
Place was packed. We waited less than 5 minutes for our table.
The food is wonderful. The meatballs are wonderful with a little kick. Beer selection is above average. Salads were also very good. Menu appears pricey but the four of us ate for leass than
100 dollars by sharing. THe portions are large. Enjoy!!

Fabulous steaks. Also love their meatballs. Decor that only an IU fan could love, but the steaks make up for it.

I love this place! The steaks were perfect in every way - juicy, flavorful and so tender we could cut our with our forks. Even my son's well-done steak was juicy and tender. The service was great, the food came out timely and was served at just the right temperature. The restaurant isn't very preposessing on the outside, but who cares when the steak's the thing? The prices are a little higher than your usual Bloomington fare, but the quality is a LOT higher!

This one of the best steakhouses in the country. It's a special-occasion place because the prices are well above Applebee's and such. Pick an occasion and make a reservation [there's always a crowd.] I'm not sure who supplies their beef but it is ALWAYS well-aged and tender, even if you desecrate it by ordering well done. Steaks ~ porterhouse, T-bone, filet, ribeye, New York strip, kabob and boneless sirloin for 1, 2 or 3 are, obviously, specialities. There are 7 and 11 oz. filets, 10 oz filet on the kabob and from there range from 16 to 18 to 20 to 24 to 26 oz. and even a three pounder, served with salad, baked potato, roll and butter. For those who don't want the best steak you're apt to ever taste, there are other selections. Lobster tail, King crab legs, mahi mahi , wild salmon and tuna filet from the sea, duck or chicken breast, bonelrss pork chops, b-b-q pork ribs, meatballs Bucharest, Kielbasa and cabbage, stuffed pepper and a 1 lb. steakburger. There are also vegetarian and kids items on the menu. They do have appetizers if you really think you'll need them. The only dessert is cheesecake and I've always been too stuffed to try it. Whatever you order, take time to savor it.

Best steak in Bloomington. The restaurant itself doesn’t really reflect the prices of some of the food because it is rather quaint and decorated in IU paraphernalia. The sirloin is reasonably priced for a 16oz cut of steak but the prices go up quickly. If you are looking for a really good steak when in Bloomington this is hands down the restaurant you should go to.
