“Very shady owner”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

At some point in 2011 the owner admitted to (and was bragging on Facebook) charging two moms extra for dessert and drinks. The owner complained the mothers had children that were loud and overstayed their welcome. I will not support a local restaurant that has a owner that brags to overcharging moms. That is shameful and I hope you one day go out of business.

“Whatta Gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

I used to go to the lunch buffet every weed during grad school. This restaurant is rough around the edges but the food is good enough to make Gordon Ramsey raise an eyebrow. The owners are the genuine article-French transplants. They treat you like family and serve you with big smiles. Do go!

“Country French Dining”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

Funky French restaurant with tasty country French food. Loved the tarragon chicken and enjoyed the leek asparagus soup. Charming waiter and even the cook came out to make sure we had everything we wanted. Good date night restaurant.

“Totally cute, unique, and unexpected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012

Unique menu every day of small, home cooked French cuisine. Obviously run by a retired couple who are sweet and excited as can be to come and chat with you about what you've chosen. A very fun foodie experience.

“It's a bit tired”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

I recently visited Le Petit for dinner and though it retains a certain charm, I am no longer quite so enthusiastic about going there. This visit I noticed the place is looking a little worn with tired art posters on the walls, sort of falling away at the corners, and the messy whiteboard menu which is difficult to read. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about, and not particularly French. I can say this because my dinner companion is French and when we left she said that she was sorry to think that what we had just consumed was considered to be French food. I thought the sauces were very flavorful and my friend liked her steak. I would love it if Le Petit would start selling wine by the glass or bottle rather in carafe only.

The owners are personable, they make you feel welcome - and they remember you.
