The quality and amount of music performances at the Jacobs School of Music continues to amaze me. With such first class entertainment available free to the public (through student recitals and concerts), a resident of Bloomington wouldn't ever need to pay for entertainment.

Gorgeous limestone buildings. Don't miss the Union building--one of the largest in the country with the delightful Beck Chapel right next door. If you have never been on campus of haven't been back in a while, be sure and get out to see Cook Hall where IU basketball history is displayed in all its glory.

If visiting Bloomington and your plans don't involve visiting the campus of IU, do it anyway. You will enjoy the old world charm and green spaces strolling through the campus. I was fortunate to visit in March, when the red and white tulips and flowering trees were in full bloom.

Beautiful campus with interesting architecture. Easy to walk. Plenty to do on and off campus!
