Having stayed here a few years ago we opted to stay a second time. It is a good stop for the money. Very old and quaint, narrow halls and smallish rooms. It is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful Restaurant was closed when we arrived but we were able to order their wonderful desserts for later in the evening. My only complaint is the lack of light blocking curtains in the room. When you stay in the outer rooms your room remains quite lit up from the outside lights. Other than that we enjoyed our second trip to the Sherman House.
