We have heard people talking about this place all over town and how good it is, so we took a friend here for her birthday. We didn't realize it was a huge sports bar with a small dining room. Our server was very nice and attentive...wish all restaurants had a person like him to wait on us. But the food was absolutely horrible. Our appetizers were ok, but the chicken tortilla soup was not like any other place I've had it. Most tortilla soups are chicken broth-based, and actually have chicken in them. This was black bean soup with some crushed up tortilla strips on top - no chicken in our soup at all. But the worst part was the Italian Beef! It had the appearance of Carl Buddig meat (you know what I'm talking about, that crap we all ate in college for 59 cents per package) all stuck together in one big pile and put onto a dry roll, barely room temp. It was like they took it out of a package, dropped it in some beef broth for a minute in the microwave and then put it on the roll. DISGUSTING! We had one child with us who ordered chicken nuggets; these were like the generic nuggets you buy in a frozen bag at Aldi, I don't even think they were real meat. My friend had the beef/sausage combo with the same disgusting beef which caused a stomach ache about an hour later. Again, room temp at best on all of our food. $65 worth of food; we could have had a better beef sandwich and chicken "nuggets" at Arby's. We definitely will not be going back, even if they offered it to us for free!
