We are always greeted as part of the family by the owners. The service is great, the food is great, the ambience is nothing special, but there is a warm feel to the open dining room which has as much to do with the friendly owners as anything.
While not the dim sum style popular in Chinatown, this restaurant represents the best of standard suburban Chinese.
Try the pot stickers, a specialty - home made, not frozen. Hot sour is the best of the soups. The shrimp dishes feature fresh large ones. Mu shu, mongolian beef, lemon chicken, all very tasty.
The place is run by two witty and talkative brothers, their wives and parents. If you catch them at a rare slow moment, be prepared to share a but of humor and philosophy if the spirit moves you. You will definitely want to come back, and it only gets better.
We love this place.
