There isn't a lit to do here but its worth the trip just to lay your eyes on this magnificent structure. You can see why there is only 1 Baha'i house of worship per continent. Definitely with stopping by

The Baha'i have only one temple per continent and this one is North America's. It is the largest poured concrete structure in the world and is amazing for that reason. Exterior is somewhat more interesting than the interior but both are beautiful as is the surrounding garden. It does not take a long time to see, so combine it with other attractions on the North Shore to round out a tour.

Accessible by rapid transit from the end of the purple line plus a longish but pleasant walk.

The first time I saw a photograph of this House of Worship I tried to determine the angles of the sides I could not see. A nine-sided building is unusual. It was built by members of the Baha'i faith in the first half of the 20th century. They did not borrow money nor accept donations from people who weren't Baha'i, so the construction took decades. The upstairs in the worship area and is open for private prayer for anyone. The downstairs has a visitors information center and book shop. Reverence is requested of people who come to visit, especially upstairs (ie. no swimsuits). No one will try to "convert" you, but a brief explanation may be offered by a greeter. Information is available downstairs if the visitor wishes to learn more. Visiting is a very peaceful experience.
