This hotel is right off the interstate and very convenient for traveling. The beds are nice, the rooms are clean, the hotels a little dated but the staff is very friendly. Free Wi-Fi with very good reception. No problems streaming videos for the kids at night. There's also a large inground swimming pool If you plan on traveling during the warmer months. The best part was the breakfast in the morning. I was surprised to find that it was more than just your standard waffles. Each day had something different ,from Scrambled eggs one day to sausage and gravy biscuits the next. It was a really nice way to start the morning off.

We do continually strive to maintain and upgrade the motel. With a sluggish economy, it has become increasingly difficult. Yet, every year, we make an effort to do something to improve the motel. This year we have started removing the wall paper in the guest rooms and updating them to textured walls and paint. This summer, we are planning on starting to replace the TV's.
Please keep coming back to see the improvements we have made.
Hotwire gave this 2.5 stars. I would give it 1. Outside hallways which I do not like. Stairs leading to our room were cracked and stained. Room looked like it was last redecorated 20 years ago. Tub room very tiny. Mirror was not cleaned properly. Old TV with poor picture. Bed was good. Breakfast was okay with a few hot items. Would not stay here again.
I sincerely apologize for your stay. We are an older property, but do try to maintain it. Many guests like the exterior corridor. They usually can drive up to the door or at least get very close. There is no long trek through the lobby and down a long hallway to get to their room. It is convenient for them to watch their vehicle and belongings.
We are continuously making improvements to the property. This summer, we are starting to implement new 32" flat screen TV's. That is a standard that will be required by 2015. It actually wasn't that many years ago, we were required to have 27" TV's. It is difficult to replace something when it works fine. As for the picture on the tv, that could be the cable company's issue.
Even though we are an older property, we do strive to make up the difference with our customer service. The front desk staff excels in service. The breakfast has items beyond the Days Inn Standard. It is important to realize that all hotels are different. Some are luxury, midscale, economy, and budget. We are economy. Therefore, what the brand may offer, will not compare with a midscale hotel.

The hotel was recommended by a friend, as I was traveling with a dog. The bed was comfortable, but it was extremely disconcerting to see several drops of urine all over the toilet seat. The door handle to the bathroom had toothpaste on it. The bathroom light switch had make-up on it. The bedding was new (if stained and a rip in one of the pillow cases), so I felt like someone had been in there to change the room. They just need some serious attention to cleanliness!! Having a microwave and fridge in the room was a good benefit. My room was near a set of stairs which was the only noise I heard. The heater worked beautifully - no funny smell and temperature was great - I think that could have been the best feature of the room when I saw that it was nice/new and didn't have that awful stink so many other hotels have. I opted not to use the shower, since the cleanliness of the bathroom was in question. Front desk staff were friendly and professional.

It is an older place - BUT very clean. The staff is very friendly. Had eggs and sausag gravy. The beds aren't bad. Plenty of pillows. Right off he interstate. Have to drive a few miles into town to find a little more restaurants. But not a bad drive.

The eggs and sausage gravy that were provided for breakfast are above the Days Inn Standard. However, we believe our guest is looking for a more healthy breakfast than just the cinnamon roll.
