I wasn't sure about visiting here as some of theses places can be a bit geeky and guides who don't leave you alone.

But this place is so interesting, there's so much to see, even after 1.5 hours we didn't see all and had to leave as they was shutting.

Will be back soon though and highly recommend a visit!

Large hanger displaying lots of photos and historical commentary of RAF Manston.
A variety of Aircraft and vehicles on display both inside and outside.
Admission is only £2.50. Free parking.
Cafe with a free Spitfire museum attached is a short walk away.
Round of applause to the volunteers running it.

Another excellent production with many varied exhibits and helpful staff. Some of the aircraft are in stages of renovation but you can see the detail that is going into them.

What an amazing place! This was my first visit to the museum despite having lived locally and worked at the airport in the 1990's. There is so much to see, and there is something for everyone.

So much memorabilia from both military and civil aviation.

Anyone who likes local history must pay the incredibly low priced admission of £2.50 for adults (children under 5 enter free) to look at the impact aviation had on Thanet and the surrounding area.

A great range of photos of the airfield, aircraft and people who were based at Manston on display.

Thank you to all who have provided a fantastic record of aviation at Manston.

Why not combine this with a visit to the Ramsgate Tunnels?
