Next to Spitfire / Hurricane museum (which is free). this museum is only £1-50 per adult and 50 p children. Amazing exhibits which evoke nostalgia from 1930's to 1980's. Staff extremely friendly. Layout spacious and well planned. A slightly homely museum which adds to its charm - I mean this as a compliment. They have the right balance between information ( news clppings ) and aeronautical exhibits . Excellent. i suggest see the spitfire and huricane museum which is free then visit its cafe before walking the 50 metres to this amazing museum!!!!

This is one of my loves and on a day that I needed to kill time it was GREAT.
Spent 2 hours going round and gave up as I was getting to cold.
Anyone interested in this should go out of their way to visit.
Masses of information and have told an aviation friend who will now go.
Keep up the good worked lads and you turned what could of been a boring day for me into one I am still talking about.
Read the books but the was so much better.
The entry fee is very small.

We took our two grandsons to this museum, I thought they would get bored, I was wrong the children loved it, they walked about with there mouths open, really enjoyed it, they even asked if they could go again. well worth a visit.

This museum is such an interesting reminder of all that went on in the area during and after the war. It is interesting for all age groups, especially if you are interested in that period of time.
