“A gem in the countryside”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Found this in one of the local dining guides on a recent visit to Lismore so decided to try it out.

The food is heavenly, very fresh and tasty!

Set in a pecan farm, it had a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere, just 15 minutes drive from Lismore.

Went there for breakfast and had the omelette and pecan pancakes. Must say this is one of the best pancakes I've ever had!

Highly recommended!!

“customer service”

Food was pretty good and the location/feeling was beautiful but the staff were pretty rude and i dare say we will not go back there just because of this.

“Absolutely wonderful”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

This little hidden farmhouse restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Hidden in the countryside of Northern Rivers it surprises with sophistication and charm. Situated in a pecan orchard also grows and roasts its own coffee. Food is absolutely fabulous. Great service and atmosphere. Good range of fine food products available for purchase in the restaurant. Outdoor, veranda and inside dining options make it all weather outing. Highly recommended.

“Expensive but definitely worth it”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

This is a great setting for a weekend breakfast. Get there before 10 and you'll be okay for a table, otherwise book. The food is all fresh and local, ingredients are quality and the breakfasts are really nice. The setting is relaxing and quiet, balcony out back is good or the coffee room if you have a pram/baby.

They have good coffee and deserts too. Normal breakfast fare, full English, eggs benedict, pancakes, fruit toast etc they are all good.

“A little gem out in the countryside”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

This cafe is a real find. We found it by chance last year and looked for it again while on holiday this year. It is tucked away behind Eltham and approached via Bangalow or Lismore in a pretty rural setting of a Pecan farm. The cafe is situated in a nicely restored country house. We sat on the balcony overlooking pecan trees with a lovely breeze on a warm day. The food and wine were very good and the waitress was cheerful and pleasant. We will return!
