We stayed for one night following a wedding nearby and were really impressed the staff who made us feel very welcome. The mini Easter eggs on the front desk and Happy Easter card posted under our door this morning were nice touches. The comfortable bed, hot shower and great breakfast also helped to make the wedding one to remember!

Stayed mid Feb and slightly disappointed after some very good reviews. Unfortunately there was a problem with the boiler and no hot water on either morning. The bed was very hard and not the normally comfortable bed found at a premier inn. The room was clean but a bit tired wondering if the place could do with a refurbishment. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was very understaffed on Sunday morning - they just couldn't cope with the constant stream of people coming in, running out of everything.

Places to visit - Shrewsbury walking town guide is good value and very informative. The inn at Grinshill is well worth a visit for dinner, not cheap but lovely food. Battlefield 1403 Farm Shop serve great food, lovely cafe (beautiful breakfast) and small museum.

We took advantage took advantage of the £19 deal for our first visit to a Premier Inn but were very pleased with what we found! The comfort and quality of the room would certainly encourage us too use them again - even t the full price! The pub next door sold value food and good beer. Certainly the quality of food could be better but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". However it was nice to be able to eat and have a drink without having to drive. All the staff were very friendly and professional.

A one night stay on a very cold Friday was made much warmer by the greeting and speedy check-in. As always the room was spotless, smelt fresh and everything in its place.
A busy Friday night where nothing was a bother and all the staff attentive in the hotel.
Adjoining restaurant could have benefitted from the staff talking amongst themselves less, communicating with customers more. The food was excellent - when it arrived. Paying with an offer should not mean poorer service.
Breakfast is a good meal.

Stayed for two nights from the 20th and found from the moment we walked through the door, how friendly and welcoming the staff were. The rooms were spotlessly clean and kept that way throughout our stay. The staff were so polite and helpful and managed to make it to work through some difficult snow conditions. A great location for visiting Shrewsbury and excellent value.
Thank you.

Room Tip: Our ground floor room had easy access to recepion and restaurant and was also quiet.

We booked this hotel as we had a wedding to go to just outside Shrewsbury the day after. We were had a very nice welcome from the receptionist which is always a good start!

The room was a very good standard. It was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a power shower. So all in all the room was hard to fault. There was no noise disturbance so we had a very nice night's sleep.

We decided to eat at the restaurant at the Premier Inn. The staff were again very friendly. We decided to have three courses and to be honest to food was average. Breeakfast was pretty good though, a varied selection to suit everybody.

So we would definitely stay here again, this is mainly due to the room being very nice plus the location is close to main roads. Recommended.

Stayed here just one night whilst in the area visiting relatives. Lovely location. Friendly staff. Check in was very efficient and the room was fine. Best shower I have ever had in any hotel. The adjoining restaurant was also very good and the food excellent.
We are hoping to return for a longer stay.
