We did not have much time to spend here, but what we were able to see was lovely. I would love to go back and explore some more.

“Beautiful Park”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

This is a beautiful park on the I & M Canal. Watch boats navigate the locks. In the fall, particularly, the color is magnificent. In the winter, you can spot nesting eagles over the water and nearby. Great family trip. There is a lodge where you can stay, and eat.

“Beautiful Park with a long history”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

Step out for a hike into history and learn about our past. Take in the history of Starved Rock, hike to see the many waterfalls, stop in the small center and take in short movies about the history. CCC were here and performed a great service to the generations that followed.
