As a CU resident, I have eaten at Timpones more than 50 times over 25 years, and it is consistently delicious, fresh, imaginative yet not fussy (no foams or fragrances), and stocked with a good wine list. The appetizers are tasty (try the fritto mist), their super-thin pizzas are authentic and delicious, their pastas are great (had super pumpkin raviolis on several occasions), and the meats and fish are top quality and fresh. The desserts can be truly spectacularly good (try the gelato!!!). I have had several meals over the years that have been life changing (first time I had truffles, for example), and only had one or two meals that were average. Others come and go, but Timpones is the long time leader for a reason. Go out of your way to come here, and if you are in town for a game or graduation, you must get here. Get reservations on busy days. If you want a date to end well, start here!
