While driving past Union after a college tour we remembered what a great time we all had every time we visited Donley's. The food was always good, unlike some other kid friendly restaurants. The Sherif was mean and the gold was plentiful....made us smile...especially my little cowboy in the back seat....he's 17 now :(

The Wild West Town has quite a few activities for younger kids to do, not young toddlers necessarily but 3-8. It is a place we go to at least once a year. Petting Zoo, roping/axe throw and panning for gold, are fun interactive stations. The train ride is neat and always see the indian village towards the back but never make it back for fall festival. It is a fun afternoon with Western show and a few other stations shooting cork guns, plastic bow and arrows and hand crank/pedal mini train car for kids. They do ask to go back a few times but i know the trips are getting shorter(accompyshing everything in less time and nothing new). As my thoughts on ages, my oldest has not asked or mentioned lately while my youngest wants to see it in the winter thus i think older kids will not get as much out of it. The museum in the front is neat for adults but kids hvae little to do with it because of all the other activities. they have picnic grounds for summer camps or school groups but otherwise i do believe they have a restaurant or just pack a lunch and you can eat out front but not allowed necessarily allowed to bring food in. One building has a jail is always fun to get locked up and a good photo opp.Haven't found many coupons and depending on size of group can get pricey, but you can avoid the souvenir shop, (small one when at entrance/exit but not the big one). Also stated you can bring your own food and get hand stamped and come back in. Worth the trip and nostalgic wetern town.

I loved the activities here for all ages. It is so nice that once you pay your entrance fee everything is included. From learning to shoot a bow and arrow, throw and axe, use a slingshot and pan for gold it is a fun experience for the kids and adults alike. I really like the museum, old movies, shoot out shows and rides. There is so much to do and see that you can spend an entire day there and never run out of things to do or see! Grandparents are free on Mondays and Tuesdays which makes it a great family venue!
