I booked a block of rooms for our sons wedding months before the July wedding. I had a terrible time contacting them when I had questions. When we checked in we were told the place had just been sold and bought by someone new. There were 3 rooms we checked into first. The next day when we came back after being in Chicago all day, our rooms had not been made up! There was no one to do it then...we did get new towels and our garbage emptied then. The next day one of our sons arrived after driving from northern Ontario (15 hours) with 2 little children only to find the a/c in their room wasn't working! After begging they were given a suite....my son showered the next day in 6 inches of water!!! We asked for them to be left in the suite as we had wedding stuff to go and do and didn't really have time to move to another room plus they had all their stuff over the whole room by this point. They couldn't do this so we all waited around for another room to be ready and helped them move. They left a very important apparatus in the room, which I have asked if it had turned up and no one has answered...I have asked several times. NOTHING!!! Breakfast staff were very good and we did enjoy eating with many of our friends. Two of my sons didn't get a receipt (very few received it under their door the morning we left)....I likely sent 4 emails to the hotel asking for these receipts and only after sending to at least 3 addresses today did I finally get them. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone......very upsetting to go with a country inn and suites, which we have used many times in the past and thought it would be great, only to be very disappointed. I did have a bad feeling when I had such a hard times getting responses but knew that there were not a lot of vacancies at that time and really thought this was a good name!
