Everyone we encountered from the front-desk staff, housekeeping and breakfast staff, were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Didn't use the pool so can't write about that as we were only here for one night. The room, however (a 1 bedroom suite with a dirty couch in the living area) was looking worn and in need of an upgrade in furnishings and perhaps the carpet as well. It was just dull looking. I rented this type of room specifically since we were traveling with our adult daughter and she was the one would be using the pull-out bed, however one look at how dirty it seemed and we decided to cover the entire thing in the supplied-bedding from the closet (a sheet and blanket) and she ended up just sleeping on the covered-couch in that manner. One has to assume that if there is going to be a pull-out bed, it needs to be in a clean condition just as one would expect the regular beds to be in and I feel that all hotels that offer this type of setup could largely benefit from improving upon them. Because of this, while the staff seem great - we would not utilize this property again.

Stayed here for a couple nights because there was a conference in Chicago causing all of the hotels to be in the $600/night range and it's right across the interstate from a metra stop. Nice rooms with a door between sitting area and bed area if you get the suite. Breakfast was awesome. Staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Depending on your plans, the only negative was that there was nothing within walking distance for eating or shopping other than a Texas Roadhouse on the other side of the parking lot.

Thank you so much for a great review, we appreciate you taking tome to write one. The staff will be happy to read your comments. We hope even if Chicago is not charging $600.00 a night you will stay with us again. We are conveniently located near two train stations that can take you downtown Chicago.
Enjoy your summer.
