We come to this hotel every year for a reunion of my husbands Marine Corps friends that he served in Vietnam with 50 years ago. We enjoy the free breakfasts, the staff, the clean rooms, the free coffee and cookies. It is convenient to great restaurants, and trains that run all day into Chicago. The staff is fantastic and so helpful. We always recommend this hotel to our friends.

I thought the room was pretty good. It wasn't the most modern hotel I've stayed in recently, but it had everything you need. My only complaint was the person checking us in was a little aloof. She would answer the phone in the middle of me asking a question without warning. They probably should refill the cookie container more often (I heard many other people say they kept checking for cookies too.) Breakfast had many options. I would recommend.

It was clean and the guy at the front desk was nice. The shower drain was broken and the plug was just on the side of the tub, the shower head was broken so if you had to use the setting it was on, the bathroom fan was broken so with three people showering it was a steam room. We stayed in a king suit and there were two TVs with a door so that was nice. Unfortunately I drew the short straw and had had to sleep on the pull out couch. "The floor would have been better," said my back. And, "Please don't eat the eggs or hash!" said my stomach. So it's not worth the price but we lived through it

Hi,
Thank you for choosing Country Inn and Suites, I am sorry your guest room, was not up to our normal standards. The items in the bathroom should have been fixed before you checked in. I have spoken to both our housekeeping team and maintenance . Our breakfast is the menu Carlson has us follow per their standards.

ok , terrible breakfast, clean rooms. incorrect and Inconsistent hours of operation for pool and fitness center. The brochure left in the room posts one closing hours while employees and doors post a earlier times which is very confusing
