Nat's on Maple is where you'll always find good food. It is a cozy, intimate place for a nice evening with friends, family, new acquaintance, etc. You will never be disappointed!

My family and I ate there following a graduation from Northern Illinois University. The waitress was very attentive, and the food was excellent. We had a group of 6 people, and we knew that we would be arriving at the end of their serving period. However, the food was very good, and good sized portions.

Try the pot roast served in an iron skillet on a bed of whipped potatoes with roast vegetables and covered with crispy onion rings. Their tortilla soup is also excellent. They have a nice bar area and a small wine room they use for parties of 12 or under. Nice selection of wine to choose from. Desserts are good but portions are huge and meant for sharing.

Ate there last night, passing through from Peoria to Chicago, best spot for dinner off I88.
Braised beef ribs and a tomato, basil garlic pasta dish was tastefully and huge.
Third time we've stopped, very busy and after 6 there will be a wait.

We ate at Nat's on NIU's graduation day. While it took a long time to get our food, the crowd was large. When the food did arrive, it was very good. Staff were very accommodating as our group grew in size prior to our arrival. I'd happily eat here again.
