It is such a beautifully clean and organized area, very well signed, making it very easy to access the different areas. We enjoyed the fact that two hours passed so quickly, giving us lots of information, without appearing to be strictly supervised.

We were told its a must destination, even if your not fused about horses. Well our friends were right, it was great. The foals were about at least 10, the gardens were beautiful and peaceful, the restaurant was very good and the museum was informative, thanks mates, great place to go.

We had a fantastic day here last week & the price of admission included the Japanese gardens and St. Fiachra's gardens. I paid 12.50 for an adult and my 2 little girls got in free as they are under 5. I was worried they would not enjoy "the gardens" as not much for 2 little ones - how wrong was I!!! They has a great day, rubbing the horses and foals, the shetland ponies in the stables, playing in the small but adequate playground. Funny enough for 2 horse loving children their favourite part was the Japanese gardens. They loved the stepping stones across the streams, the little bridges, the house and all of the little trails to follow. Would highly recommend to see for a family day out.

Spend a day last week here and the admission included the Japanese gardens and St. Fiachra's gardens. Glorious sunshine and all outdoor. Price was €30 for 2 adults and 2 children. I had a half price admission ticket so for €15 it was great value. Watch local papers and tourist offices to get discount. The gardens are beautiful but small and the horses are all out in fields..but will come to the railings for a rub. There is a coffee shop and a gift shop on site also. We brought a picnic and sat out on the grounds and enjoyed the fresh air. Staff friendly and helpful. Only drawback is the toilets are back where you enter, keep this in mind if you have little ones with you.

This place was beautiful. The tour of the stud farm was informative. The lunch at the restaurant was okay but the dessert was superb! We had a carmel cake covered in chocolate. It was to die for. The Japanese gardens were worth the whole trip!
