We syayed here late August, 2012. This one story, interior corridor building is in very good shape. Although carpet in the room was a bit stained, it was clean. Beds were clean and comfortable and bathroom was big with a strong shower. We used the outdoor pool - very nice. The people we encountered at the front desk were freindly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast. The cons: Location is a bit out of the way but, there was a pizza hut nearby. There was another restaurant even closer but, they close early. Our TV was awful. Old style (which is OK) but we could'nt figure out the remote. When we finally gave up and called the front desk, she acknowledged that (either that TV or all of them) were possesed by the demon and filled us in on the "trick" to make it work. Had we known that ahead of time, we wouldn't have fiddled with it half the night (thinking we were the ones that were goofing things up). Overall, it still looks like the best choice in Sparta . . . or you could pay another $60 at the Holiday Inn Express for a TV that isn't possesed.
