Millrose is old and needs some new paint and updating. Service is always slow and the food is pretty bland. Not sure how they can call this a brewery. If you want some awesome craft beer, go across the street to the Lucky Monk. Awesome craft beer brewed on site.

We went for my wife's birthday. We had not been there in years, so this was a great choice. The restaurant is all decked out for the Holidays. What a great job they did. Our waitress (Jill) was outstanding. She was very attentive, friendly and not over powering. The dinner was excellent and would definitely recommend to friends and family. We WILL be back.

I brought a good friend of mine here for his birthday in January of this year 2012 and this place always is a nice relaxing experience from the appetizers to the breads to almost anything on the menu! I miss this place as my old office used to be right around the corner. I wll head here this month as it is always a great cozy place to stop in on a cold December evening!!

What began as a Meat Packing Company in South Barrington has grown to be a wonderful restaurant, banquet room, martini bar. I remember in younger years watching some of the 125 year old barns being moved down the road to add on to what would become Millrose Brewing Company.

A warm and cozy interior welcomes you for great homemade dining experience. Most recently we stopped in for the Sunday brunch. Typical brunch fare variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, eggs benedict, home fried potatoes but what stands out is the Millrose Packing Co.'s own ham, turkey, sausage patties and bacon. You order your omelets from your server, which in my opinion is nicer than waiting in front of an omelette station plate in hand.

You may also order from the regular menu. We combined brunch and menu ordering because they had pork schnitzel served with German potatoes and red beets on their October menu. The. Best. Pork. Schnitzel. EVER!!!

Summer to Fall is nice to spend time on one of the outdoor patios. The patio outside of the bar has heated pavers and warming lamps. What a great OctoberFest patio!
