We had booked months in advance arriving at 1pm for a 1.30pm table on a Sunday - first sitting is an hour earlier. Greeted warmly, had a drink at the bar and shown to our table by a window at the back of the restaurant. Note there is no view of the sea! As we pondered our main courses we were advised there was no more fish - all sold! Starters were excellent - chicken terrine stood out and healthy sized. Non-fish mains were very good although the pork loin had a lot of fat. Desserts amazing. Atmosphere good. Fair price - not overly expensive but some might find it a bit rich for a gastropub. Staff friendly and are aware of the fish issue! Advice is to book to sit down and order sharpish!
