We have just returned from a weekend spent at Alberta and our experience was very hit and miss. Firstly we only paid £90.00 for two days in a silver plus caravan, which was excellent value. Personally, I would rate it only a bronze due to wear on couches and no oven shelving to cook on in oven (you had a small baking tray to place on bottom of oven). Having said that, it was very, very clean and as we didn't cook, it was no problem to us. The main problem was the lack of customer service from the Manager of the site. We had a problem with the kitchen being closed and no warnings were given and also the state to the ladies toilets. Even after 1.5 hours of waiting, no one had cleaned them! This was totally unacceptable. We are looking to purchase a holiday home and are trying to go to various sites to see which one suits us the best. From the lack of customer care shown by the manager, it will not be Alberta!

France is closer than you think so you’ll have time to top up with duty free before you leave! ... more less
