“Have to try this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

Was recommended to try this spot for lunch by a client and she steered me to the right place for a great deli sandwich. Great service, very clean, friendly staff. Lots of unique food products to choose from while you're there

“Great Bagels”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2013

It is a small place about the size of a convenience store. It's easy to get to, about 1/4 mile from I-94. It has just reopened, is attractive and well organized, but the most important part is the food. Oh the food! The bagels are excellent. No, they are better than that. Bagels are fresh, in great variety and the prices are very reasonable. The corned beef is about as good as I've had. it has all the things that one expects in such a place. Sandwiches, soups, breads, meats, etc. are available. I'll be back. This time I'll buy a lot more stuff.

“Genuine deli a & great bakery- an unbeatable combination!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2013

This is a true treasure. Hearkening back to the delis of yore, it's a bastion of smoked & cured meats, fantastic smoked fish, deli salads, & other exotica. As you enter you'll take a number- it's all personal service by experienced (& occasionally crusty) countermen who know how to slice the pastrami & corned beef and pile it mile high on the tastiest sandwiches around. While you're waiting you can dip into the pickle barrels or browse amongst the rare condiments (about 100 kinds of mustard for instance) or stock up on flatbreads, jams, home made soups (unbelievably fantastic chicken soup) or whatever other treasures you may find. Then there's the bakery- bagels (of course) and the best rye bread in town, along with coffeecake, honeycake, cheesecake, rugelach, sugar cookies, brownies, onion rolls, and genuine chocolate babka.

It gets busy, You wait in line, sometimes two lines. The countermen can be a bit testy (because everybody is waiting behind you!!!, BUT IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT.

“Good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

The challanging part is right at the beginning. Parking is a problem, especially if you go there on a week-end. Don't forget to grab a ticket right by the front door. The deli counter moves pretty slow and then you wait again at the checkout line. But the sandwiches are very, very good. And large! The bakery does not require a number but the line does not move too fast either. Their breads are really good. I will stop for a sandwich whenever possible.
