The island is just a 10-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay. We should have gone here earlier but I suppose the Sydney Biennale was the best time to go. There were art work in several spots of the island. We had a self-guided/audio tour and learned a lot about convict history. This is a good place to bring visiting friends and relatives. There were more than a few cafes and restaurants to choose from and transportation was not an issue. The million dollar views were breathtaking. This island is rich in history.
