We had a wonderful stay at Trallwyn Cottage for 3 recently. With its access to the beautiful mystical moors.
The cottage itself is sweet with a lovely new kitchen. The loft bedroom is a bit cramped if you are 6 ft but sitting looking out of the velux window at the sky, birds and bats was delightful.
There are many walks in the local area with lots of wildlife.
Anna is really helpful if you have any queries and hopefully we get chance to do some pottery next time
This is quite a peaceful and special retreat with very few shops nearby. Looking forward to going back sometime in the future.
We loved the rusticness of the cottage and the views onto the moors. We spent most of our time locally and walked the moors and through the villages. We saw an abundance of wildlife and spent hours listening to the moles underground in the gardens of the cottage. It was a truly wonderful weekend. So peaceful and enchanting. Anna was a wonderful host and we can't wait to stay again. If you are looking for tranquility and soulful relaxation, look no further..
Another beautiful stay at Trallwyn. The cottage provides a safe haven away from the hassle of usual life. It has everything you need, and gives a feeling of nurturing which is enriched by the beautiful surroundings of the moor and mountains. Wild ponies on the door step , captivating sunsets, inspiring sun rises and magic to be had by the stone circle. This place has it all if you want to escape and be reminded of what really matters.
The Trallwyn Cottage is very much a mix of old and modern - 'best of both' for me.
Our host was lovely and a real pleasure. We were very happy with all services and provisions made.
We had a better Wifi signal than the one at home - and the television had a HDMI socket enabling my Son to connect his Xbox and save the universe (or whatever he does on there).
From here we explored the area taking in ancient burial sites at Brynberian and Newport. Also we visited coastal treats of Fishguard (not the ferry terminal), Abereiddy, St Davids, Solva, Newgale and Broad Haven.
I still cannot believe we got so much in and at a relaxed pace.
We did all this in a week - this is an ideal base to centre a Pembrokeshire visit and to come back to after each days travelling. What an experience sitting on the adjacent moor watching the sun come down over an ancient stone circle less than two hundred yards from our Cottage!
