We were looking for a peaceful pocket of pembrokeshire and this exceeded our expectations. The love and creativity that has gone into this mill conversion are a testament to the hosts hospitality and attention to detail.
The mill house was exceptionally, tidy and comfortable, everything we needed was there, and if we had a query or a need there was always a friendly face to help.
The land immediately around the house was so lovely in itself that we hardly needed to venture further out, but it was ideally situated to explore the quirky nearby towns and the stunning coastline. Couldn't recommend it enough, we will definitely be coming back.
We stayed at Felin over Easter weekend. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and all stress left us. The studio is cosy and homely with a lovely log burning stove. We were soothed to sleep by the sounds of the gushing stream...best nights sleep ever!
Oshi is the perfect host and made us very welcome. Whilst we were there our car broke down (with no garages able to fix on a bank holiday of course!). She happened to have a spare car to lend us so we were able to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire beaches-not sure what we would have done without it although there are also plenty of beautiful places to explore within the local area.
Thoroughly recommend staying here and we very much look forward to returning soon!
This is a real gem of a find ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside on foot (great for dog owners we had two small dogs who were made welcome) or further afield by car Tenby,St Davids,Cardigan all within easy reach.
The Mill Barn really is something special both quirky and cozy, great for a night in after a day out and about +Oshi and her team are there to help ( luggage, fire lighting, etc ) all in all a great place to be would not hesitate to recommend Felindyrch.
Location was very rural and it was a joy to walk and drive in the surrounding areas.
The accomodation was as represented but with the less visually attractive elements of farm life also present. This did not distract from our enjoyment.
It is worth mentioning that the loft bed involves access by a ladder style stair which may not be suitable for everyone.
The kitchen had the basics necessary for cooking and seasonings and olive were thoughtfully provided. As was a torch.
In all charming, basic accomodation in a lovely location.
An absolutely beautiful retreat. We spent a peace filled weekend here, in a space that is well thought out and has so many lovely little touches. The water and land here is rich in magic and healing. We came home feeling restored. A true gem.
