A group of us were meeting over at the Renaissance hotel and decided it was time for an adult beverage. Someone in our group had seen an advertisement for the Punch Bowl. We jumped in our cars and headed over to the Punch Bowl a few blocks away. The place was about half full, which was nice. The drinks are good along with the food and service. We tried our hand at bowling and foosball. I do not believe I have ever seen an eight-man foosball table before. Having four players to a side is very interesting especially when the game gets intense.

All in all, it was a good night. We all had fun and let off a little steam. So if you are looking for a bit of entertainment while having a few drinks with friends, I suggest you give the Punch Bowl a try.

Fake washing machines, a few carnival type games, bowling and a restaurant? For a place that is supposed to be good for families, they make it tough to accommodate small children. When we arrived, they seated us at little high tops with bar stools that had no backing. After bowling a game with my 5 year old grandson, we departed without tasting the food. The place may be trendy and all but it’s more of a bar and hangout than s family friendly restaurant.

I would highly recommend not visiting. We were down visiting and looking for a fun place near our hotel. We walked over. Looked like it would be a fun place for 8. Ordered drinks and food. Our food came and that’s when things went south. Katy the bar manager took it into her own hands to make her determination that we were too “toasted” in her opinion and until we had food rationed us to 1 beer per hour. We were amazed and extremely upset. It doesn’t surprise me that on a Saturday night at 10pm it’s 3/4 empty. We spoke with the Tony the GM and he seemed to agree but by that point in time the damage was done. With management like Katy an establishment like this is bound for failure. I would head some place else that appreciates your business. Good luck in Milwaukee your business approach.
