There is only one Bahama Breeze in Illinois, and it is part of the Darden (think Olive Garden) group ownership, but don't let either of those items discourage you. The food is just Latin/Cuban enough to be really tasty -- a bit of a spicy kick but not too much. Soups, especially the chowder, are outstanding. We've done both lunch and dinner, mostly with teen grandchildren and their parents. Staff generally is friendly. The one negative is a long wait for food to arrive from the kitchen (the reason for a poor service mark below), but good conversation helps the time pass.
