First time at LWK. The ribs with whiskey sauce were fall off the bone good. Their signature dish of citrus soy salmon was great. Has an interesting selection of sides. Suggest you try the Mac and cheese or cous cous. White chocolate bread pudding needed a bit more cinnamon but otherwise was very good. Didn't try the whiskey but will be going back to give it a try.

My wife and I went in there to try the place out. It was very noisy but the food was great. We ordered and shared a dessert. We were buzzed from the dessert, but it tasted great.

Loved the wild rice soup and the bourbon mac and cheese! Many items on the menu sounded good, need to go back and try something new!

I must have been at a different place than all the fans when I went here for Lunch on a Thursday. True, I did NOT have a few shots of the namesake first to dull my perceptions, but this seems to be just another "Woodsy Men's Club" place for the expense account set. There is only one menu, so unless you like to spend $28 regularly for a steak at Lunch, its fairly pricey for the midday. That didn't stop the crowd from showing up, so I guess they have some appeal. Our group of 3 was served by the "Gruff Guy" type of waiter who was efficient until we seemed to overstay our "time limit", then he disappeared. The Burgers we ordered (about $12) were cooked right, and had some interesting side choices, but didn't stand out otherwise - about the same as at John Barleycorn, but smaller. With about 4 other places nearly in the same block, this just doesn't stand out enough to spend almost $20 each (incl T & T) for a burger and a Coke.
