Joe's Crab Shack, not to be confused with Joe's Stone Crab and Seafood, is a franchise restaurant chain. Went with friends who were disappointed that the place did not live up to expectations of the TV commercials they had seen. Biggest disappointment was the pricing and that the food was just average. All in our party ordered a bucket meal (basically crab legs, other steamed seafood, some new potatoes and corn on the cob,.) which came to the table in a pot with sides of drawn butter. While the food stayed hot, it was tasty, but quickly cooled. and lost flavor. Desserts were large portions and decent, yet it would have been nice if the bucket of shells had been removed from the table before desserts were served. Service was friendly and attentive. While the restaurant tries to imitate a seaside shack with it's decor. It does not compare to eating out by the water .
