No comparison to San Diego, but not a bad place to visit and spend some time. We spent about three hours there because our son enjoyed the room where all are encouraged to use their legos and create what you can and use within their vicinity.
By the way, Milwaukee is probably less than an hour away if your like me and want to visit stadiums. I didn't realize this until later, but will go back to Chicago and take that drive to Brewer's stadium.

This is a great place to find lots of lego selection. The store was busy but there were willing workers to assist.
This would be a kids' dream if they like legos.

The grand kids loved it,but then they didn't know how much it cost.

There were three generations of boys in our party and it's hard to say who had the most fun. The attraction is aimed at the youngest generation, but the other two also had fun building cars and trying to outwit the balance table. The staff is engaging, but the food is below par.

I have been to Legoland twice, the first time with my 3yo grandson and later with my 14 yo grandson. Other than the Lego setup of Chicago, my older grandson was bored. Legoland is for younger childrean, they get to run around and play and create their own lego car, house or whatever they want.
