I love this place! Such a wide selection of sandwiches and despite other reviewers' opinions; great value. £7.95 for a large baguette, generously filled and chips - very tasty! The garden is lovely in the summer and a great place to while away a few lunch time hours. The staff are always very friendly and efficient. We will keep going back!

I've eaten here countless times and love it, the range of sandwiches (64 fillings and 5 breads - bagel, wrap, baguette, white bloomer or wholemeal bloomer) all served with salad, soup or chips and at £7.25 for a really filling meal is good value in my eyes. I love the green and pleasant (green grapes, brie and raspberry vinaigrette) on white bloomer - really tasty. I will admit that on times I've had other sandwiches which have sometimes perhaps not been as good but the staff are all really friendly so it you're unsure just ask them about your choice. The pub is small inside so on a cold day it can be hard to get a table at busy times but on a warm day the big garden means that there is usually space.

This place offers something a little different foodwise and consequently is very popular. It's expensive for what it is and it took over 30 minutes for my sandwich to reach me and the pub was not that busy. Added to this warm white wine, indifferent service and long wait to pay and I won't be rushing to go back.

We all look forward to going to the Pineapple. The food will never win any awards but the concept and the atmosphere are both great.
