Very nice, quiet, comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting of garden and veg plot with great views across to the Stiperstones ridge; excellent base for walking and discovering a part of the country not well known to us.

I cannot fault anything with my stay in the Stiperstones Studio, it provides excellent facilities, a comfy bed and beautiful views. There are a many good walks in the area, the Stiperstones being one of them and many places to visit that are not too far by car.
It was a highly recommended, lovely quiet week away!

Cranberry Cottage is in a quiet rural setting and commands a fine view over open fields to near-by hills. Shelve is in the heart of excellent walking country and, for the less adventurous, some good walks can be accessed within a few yards of the cottage. There are many places of historical interest within easy reach by car. These include: Mitchell's Fold Stone Circle, Wroxeter Roman City, Stokesay Castle (a little gem), Acton Scott Farm Museum and, of course, the industrial museums at Ironbridge. There is no shortage of friendly pubs in the area offering good food and some locally brewed beers. The cottage is warm, comfortable and well eqipped, and deserves its four star rating.

Chris & Kath came with a dog, and on arrival agreed to our normal pet conditions, viz Pets are accepted on the understanding that they are kept under control, out of bedrooms and off the furniture. Late in the week Chris was seen sleeping on the cushions on the sofa, in the living area with the dog without consulting us, which may explain the score for sleep quality. Previous guests have commented on the comfort of the bed and the full size pull-out sofabed when alternate sleeping has been required.
It is a shame we weren't consulted as this could have been easily sorted

This is the ideal retreat to relax far from the madding crowd, in my case, the whirlygig of the 2012 annual August B.H. Shrewsbury Folk Festival. After a day of listening to bands and watching multiple Morris groups, how blissful it was to take out my ear plugs, enjoy a country drive past the local healthy food Farm Store/Tuffins supermarket whilst planning what I would cook for my supper. Perfect facilities ( washing/drying room downstairs), stunning views from the Studio whatwever the weather and within easy reach of Stokesay Castle, Mongomery Village and Castle and Bishop's Castle/Shrewsbury/Church Strettn Antiques for shopping. Excellent value for money with homemade produce/eggs for sale and adjacent walking - take your wellies.

.

Room Tip: Choose flat for one/couple or the Cottage for couple plus onwe person.

Peace and quiet, beautiful views, superb accommodation (best bed we have ever had on holiday!) we can't recommend Lower Farm Studio enough.
There are so many walks on the door step and places of interest within easy reach by car that a week was not long enough. Having just had one of England's worst summers for years we were glad of the laundry facilities but even the rain could not spoil our stay.

We do aim to provide an assortment of passtimes if the weather gets really foul, but as youfound there is plenty to do apart from walking. We'll sort the weather a bit better for a future visit ;-)
