We’ve been to Liu Bros. for both lunch and dinner several times. With each visit we were served a fresh, updated version of traditional Chinese cuisine. Delicious! We find that the chef is very willing to adjust the degree of spiciness to our tastes. My husband, who has been to China several times - especially loved a dish served in “hot pot” restaurants in China. The chef prepares it at Liu Bros. so it is listed as boiled fish.

The restaurant decor is elegant, but not stuffy, with a fresh rose atop white tablecloths. The staff is both friendly and knowledgable. They seem comfortable in accommodating special diet requests. This is our new go-to place.

We have eaten several times at the new Asian Bristro called Liu Brothers and what a treat. Their unique mix of specialties and traditional items let's you be adventurous as you want. Try the Honey Walnut Shrimp or one of a number of traditional appetizers. We order the Calamari and loved it so much with the pepper and salt batter that I already know I will try the pepper and salt shrimp on our next visit. You can BYOB with no corkage fee. Check it out. You definitely will come back.

The food was very good, and plenty of it. We had Sesame Chicken (a bit too much vinegar for our taste, but will order again and ask for less) and the Homestyle Fish (very tasty). For appetizer we had Crab Rangoon. It was so light and crispy........not a hint of any grease/oil! We inquired about the huge bowls at another table, and was told it was the noodle soups. Looking forward to trying those. We will definately go back again........for dine-in and take out. Interesting story of where they came from and how they ended up in St Charles. They said that regardless if something is on the menu or not........just ask. They prepare everything as you order. Nothing made in advance.....even the soups.

Where to begin? The service was excellent. Every table received a free appetizer consisting of three dishes: fish, vegetables, and beef. A bit spicy, but not unbearable. The decor was really nice - much better than you'd guess from the outside. They obviously put some money into this new restaurant. And the food was excellent. I usually don't have fish at a Chinese restaurant, but tried the salt & pepper fish entree. It was really good (again a bit spicy). My wife had the Mongolian chicken and really liked it.
