“Bienevue...a slice of HEAVEN”
Reviewed August 1, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This was a wonderful house and location. The owners were very accomodating and helpful. The house is charming, very clean and comfortable that comes with the view of all views. A beautiful English Garden is right in your back yard and the cliffs of dover are visable from the deck. Highly recommend ! ! !

“The white cliffs”
Reviewed July 14, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

The Views from Bienvenue were fantastic with the White Cliff's of Dover to your right & looking straight over to France from down stairs and bedroom upstairs, when there is no fog. There are flat walks straight from the secure gated property. The annex itself was open plan but the railing on the stairs were sticky due to the wrong paint being used. Nice big towels and plenty of them. Lots of drawer and wardrobe space for a long stay.
We ate at the "Coast Guard" a 10 min walk away down in St Margarets Bay. Beware that the meals are big. We shared one and it was plenty & nice. Nice chips, big and crunchy.
Anna was delightful, very friendly and always had a smile

“Perfect Place”
Reviewed May 30, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Had high expectations after all the glowing reviews and was not disappointed. Very clean, glorious uninterrupted sea views. Didn't need the log burner, since weather was very warm. Breakfast on the patio every morning. Unbeatable value for money - nice welcome pack - more than just tea and coffee. Very friendly owners. Enjoyed a soak in the bath tub watching the ferries go by. Morning tea in bed with the french doors folded back - thought I was in a tree house. We had a perfect long weekend, which was certainly worth the long drive from Germany. Thank you Anna for sharing that special place with others!

“Location, location !”
Reviewed May 11, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Location could absolutely not be bettered, gorgeous views across the channel and lovely clifftop walks. A really high quality rental with many thoughful extra touches from the owners who are charming. Cannot wait to return but may have to wait awhile due to the popularity of this cottage - deservedly so. Would highly recommend.

“Beautiful location and wonderful accommodation”
Reviewed March 24, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

This is a beautiful place and the accommodation is wonderful.
It was everything I had hoped for and more. We spent 3 days exploring the local area and folkestone and was a pleasure to return to this lovely retreat.
The weather was a bonus too.
The owners are helpful and friendly should you need any help on your stay.
