We travel several times during the year, mostly for pleasure. At least twice a year we travel to Chicago for a long weekend with our daughter who lives in the NW suburbs and visit my Mother-In-Law in Rockford. We prefer to stay near O'Hare for convenience and have stayed at quite a few of the nearby 4 star hotels. I bid Priceline for these stays and this is the second time we have won this hotel. It was a fantastic value, even by Priceline standards. However, I would not hesitate to book this hotel at regular price. I like it so much that I will probably do so next time as I would not want to be at any other hotel in the area.

This hotel is rated 3 1/2 star by Priceline, probably because it does not have all of the services as the higher starred hotels, such as a spa. However, it does have all we need. The hotel is quiet and the entire place is impeccably clean. I inspect the bathrooms carefully and ours was the cleanest I have experienced in a long time. The room is not large, but does have a couple of comfortable chairs in addition to a desk and chair, a refrigerator and a room safe. It may be a bit small (We had one King Size bed) for a family of four, but for two people it was quite adequate. The bedding was very comfortable with a good selection of pillows.

The lobby area is contemporary and inviting. We arrived late and the desk staff was very pleasant in greeting us. We also appreciate the free parking garage which is located adjacent to the hotel. Free parking is a huge bonus in this area and is also a "make or break" deal for us. There is a lot of road construction going on right outside the hotel at the present time, so watch carefully for the entrance if you will be staying there anytime soon!

We only had one meal in their lobby restaurant, which was Sunday breakfast. the food was excellent (I do recommend the steel cut oatmeal) but pricey. Our breakfast bill for two people was $24 and we only had oatmeal, juice and coffee for one person and the other had cold cereal, a muffin, juice and coffee! However, it was convenient and service was prompt. If you have more time there is a I-Hop a mile down the road where we have eaten breakfast in the past.

Overall, this place is a hit with us. A big thumbs up!

Great find if you can get it on Priceline. Cheap! About $50/night!

Pros:
-They have free printers/pcs to print your boarding passes
-QUIET room...wow
-Very helpful front desk staff
-Never had to wait for the airport shuttle

Cons:
-Not near any restaurants...about 4 blocks away is a McDonalds and a few local restaurants. A bit of a walk.
-they charge for WiFi (Tmobile Hot Spot) $10
-the free "ginger" toietries (shampoo, etc) are kinda stinky

Overall, a great stay, just don't pay full price.

I've stayed at a number of hotels near O'Hare and this is a good one. Free shuttles to ORD. Hotel feels new - clean rooms, clean carpet, strong shower pressure, firm beds and nice bedding. Coffee, tea, internet in room. Free self-park lot across from the hotel, which you rarely see in the area. Front desk was very good, service oriented.

This was a good choice for a 3 1/2 star hotel on a popular discount website. Room comfort + cleanliness, lobby, and staff are commensurate with the hotel rating. Two big plusses for this property are: free parking (most other hotels near O'Hare charge $20+ a night for parking), and frequent free shuttle to O'Hare airport. We used the shuttle service to easily connect to the CTA blue line "L" train, so we wouldn't have to fight traffic getting downtown.

Only minuses were an older-style (non flatscreen) TV, internet access is not free, and there isn't a pool. Despite this, we found it to be a bargain.

I always say that the most important thing about a hotel is the bed, well this hotel has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. We arrived at 1:00 on a Saturday and they let us check in early. The clerk was extremely nice and helpful. He even gave us some directions. The room was clean and crisp. The hotel has a restaurant that looked to be good and hopping but we did not eat there. The train station is about a mile away. We chose to drive and park, only a $5 fee and worth it not to have to walk back to the hotel after a long day. There was a Giordanos, Ginos East and McDonalds all within a mile of the hotel. There is also a Dunkin Doughnuts at the train station.

This is a much smaller hotel than the Hyatt O'Hare. Not as up to date, but it's nice and intimate.

Rooms are clean and large. TV is adequate.

No complaints, but nothing much to write home about either.
