Overall great. Did not like that Internet access I paid for ended before the 24 hours I was promised.

We got to the hotel with several bags and were told that the bellman couldn't help us because he was unloading boxes. No problem, we could get it ourselves with a luggage cart. Apparently that is a problem though because you can't use the luggage carts unless you are part of the union! The restaurants close by are mostly $$$$ and not family friendly at all. The pool is in view of anyone sitting in the restaurant bar...kreepy! And the hotel restaurant has very limited hours with nothing available for breakfast. We were staying there for a conference, and even staying several days with a conference, they had to charge us for WiFi! What a rip off.

Great beds and linens, great staff, nice rooms, reasonably priced restaurant. Pick-ups to the airport are every 30 minutes but should be every 15. Very nice hotel if you have to stay near ORD.

The construction that some have referred to did not bother me, but this hotel is at the end of one of O'Hare's runways. While I was trying to fall asleep between 10 and 11 pm, jets taking off literally shook my bed several times. No need to insert coins for a vibrating bed experience at this motel.

Caveat to this review... The hotel is undergoing a major refurbishment.
I do like the CP brand of hotels and this one is no different. The problem with this hotel is it's location. If you are going to be this close to Chicago, go the whole hog and stay in town rather than out by the airport and office blocks.

I was put here by United Airlines after some serious malfunctions at Ohare. I really do have to say if I was paying for this hotel, I would be very upset. 1) There is tons of construction going on, its very dirty, loud, and does not lead to a well rested sleep at all. 2) Staff has not been very helpful at all. The only helpful person here has been Juan. 3) There are basically no amenities. Internet is an insane 12.95 for 24 hours or 35c a minute at their computers downstairs. Breakfast (Which is said to be complimentary on their 'hold music') is not available for 'my class of room'. The one packet of Earl Gray in my room is not enough for two people, whereas there are four things of coffee. (I also went downstairs to ask for another kind of tea, and was told it would be 2.80 just for another packet). 4) The noise is awful. First thing in the morning there was a ton of construction downstairs in the lobby and where the elevator is. Awful.

I wouldnt stay here again if it was free.

We were put in here for one night by the airline for a blown connection so it was already a long day. The hotel shuttle guy was 'on break' so the cab ride of two miles cost twenty bucks. Went to sleep at 3 am and awoke at 7 sharp when heavy construction began two floors below me in the hotel. The same hotel. 7 am. Concrete drilling. And, btw, they charge 12.95 for internet access and the hot water in the sink was a dribble. Awful place, even by airport hotel standards. Today, by comparison, for about the same rack rate, I'm in a splendid 14th floor corner room overlooking Montreal.

I own resort property and I do not understand why hotels pretend they can stay open while they completely renovate -- plastic dust barriers, construction noise in the restaurants, dirt, equipment. Seems like while they do the lobby and public areas, they should just shut down for a month.
