Description: Fogo de Chão is an authentic Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, which has specialized in fire-roasting high-quality meats for almost 40 years utilizing the centuries-old Southern Brazilian cooking technique of churrasco. Fogo offers guests a wide variety of simply seasoned meats, that are carefully fire-roasted to expose their natural flavors, including the house specialty picanha sirloin, filet mignon, ribeye, and lamb chops to name a few.

Went to Fogo de Chao with some colleagues after Work. Impressing Salad bar and perfect selection of meat. If you are a meat lover - this is the place to visit.

In the world of Brazilian steak houses I would rate this specific location below most others in the area. Their salad bar selection is a slight step above your local restaurant and not at all in line with the offerings at Texas de Brazil in Schaumburg. Of course the service is stellar and the amout of people tending to your every need is amazing without question.
What I found interesting was the number of children in the dinning room on a Friday night. I know they have no control over who comes in the door but every other table had children/babies and several were making themselves known throughout most of the meal. With the additional rooms they have available perhaps they could look into seating families with children in the same general area.
Unless you are staying in the hotels nearby I would suggest either travelling to Schaumburg or going into the City for this this type of meal.

The salad bar is beautiful but you really have to love meat. It's a nice atmosphere and the service is wonderful. Loud, though, and again you should be a serious carnivore.

Not my choice for a restaurant, a business meeting ended with a dinner at this establishment. Compared to many other Rodizios, the choices in the salad bar tend to be pretty boring and standard (but I did like the Pão de Queijo brought to the table as an appetizer). Of course, the salad bar is not intended to be the key feature, but even the grilled meats --served at a very rapid pace-- are not very special. For my taste, many of the cuts were heavily oversalted (but the server swiftly complied when I asked for rarer and less salty portions of the meats). If there was a next visit to this chain, I would skip their chicken, sausage and most of their meats, to focus instead on the tender lamb chops and the juicy, flavor-packed Picanha (I also enjoy the caramelized bananas served as a sidedish).

The service was extraordinary, the meats were delicious, the salads were terrific that atmosphere was grand. They did it all right and even the deserts were fantastic. Wow. Don't miss this place, it's not cheap, but you will leave feeling that it was worth every penny.
