Description: Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse, opened to the public on August 10, 1999. Located just minutes from the O'Hare International Airport inside the Holiday Inn and Suites, this location brings the same friendly confines and award-winning Italian Steakhouse cuisine from the legendary downtown location to Chicago's northwest suburbs. The casual to fine dining restaurant specializes in the finest prime, aged steaks, chops and classic Italian cuisine. The friendly, energetic atmosphere embodies the amiable personality of the restaurant's namesake. The dark mahogany, mosaic floor, white-jacketed servers, white tablecloths and a veritable museum of baseball history combine to create a warm and casual elegance.

We ate at Harry Caray's while staying at the Sheraton. The meal was good. The service was excellent. It could use an update on the restuarant itself. It is starting to look a little worn. The prices were a little high considering, but the food was worth it.

The pork chop special (Cajun spices, apple topping) that our waiter Miguel recommended is easily the best pork chop I've ever tasted, and they cooked it just enough so that it was moist and had great texture. Vegetables and "Cajun potatoes" (spicy fried wedges" were good, but nothing special. Miguel's other recommendation - beer/cheddar soup was also tasty.

Unfortunately my business companion's meal didn't go as well- the house salad contained more specialty (and bitter) greens than he liked, and he didn't realize that the non-specials came a la carte, so he had to order additional items once his prime rib arrived. He said the prime rib was outstanding, though.

Great service - it's nice to have staff anticipate our needs, rather than interrupting too frequently.

A little pricey, but food was very good. The fried raviolli was the best I have ever had anywhere. The fettucini alfredo was loaded with chicken. Didnt walk away hungry.

Closes at 10pm on a Saturday. Ruined spring break plans and because of this would never use the attached Hotel again, who it has to be noted are not a fault.

In the 2 mins I stood there another 7 people also asking to eat. NOT acceptable for a full service hotel. Sorry

I've eaten here and the downtown location and enjoyed it very much. Fantastic steaks and huge portions. Only advice is make darn sure you're hungry.
