Was in on a Thursday night around 6. Was seated and served promptly. The place is big and I can see how it would be really loud once the band starts playing. Had the pork BBQ sandwich and it was really good! The wait staff are young women in tank tops, short shorts and cowboy boots. They seem inexperienced and I can see how this may be an issue when it's busy. The bar is shaped like a guitar and there are TV's all over. You can get a beer in a 32oz mason jar. The prices were reasonable for the area. If your expectations are not over the top, you want to people watch and hear live country music...why not? TK's is in an entertainment park, adjacent to a number of hotels and has or will have at least six other places within a 2 minute walk.

My wife insisted that we stop in while in town visiting my sister because she is a big Tony Keith fan. Be warned that if you are not familiar with the area your GPS will take you places you shouldn't go like a private residential neighborhood. The security guard didn't have to be told which restaurant we were looking for.

Once we found the place (the entertainment district in Rosemont which overall is a nice place) it was what I expected - a country version of House of Blues. I didn't think it was too much Toby Keith - he had a lof pictures on the wall but all of the songs on the speakers were other country singers. :) Large amount of TV's - I counted 32 and that didn't include upstairs or the band area but none of them were in your face. The bar was huge and there was plenty of staff.

This was the first time I saw a fried bologna sandwhich on the menu so I gave that a try and it was very good. My wife ordered some type of hamburger which was huge. She wished she had ordered the fried chicken because the corn it came with smelled very good.

I would come back when in this area and would like to stick around to hear a band.

Wanted a good time place in the middle of a corporate minefield. I found it! Was there at about 630pm. Sat right down at a table next the bar where we could still watch the Monday night football games, with out sound. It wasn't standing room only but it was busy. The place is absolutely huge, the main bar probably seats 120 people alone...of course its shaped like a guitar. There are at 2 other, smaller bars downstairs for when they have live music (Weds through Sat nights about 930-10pm). They also have leather couches and chairs around a table with their own TV, great for a few friends and football. The upstairs has another bar that seats around 15 people with a couple big screens. Then you can also dine and drink outside in the 'skybar' area. It overlooks the middle of the park so it depends on what you want for a view because beyond that is 294 and Ohare. Be prepared for the planes going and coming overhead depending on the pattern...it can get loud. The setup for the music is awesome with a stage and dance floor sunken on the other side of the restaurant. You can overlook it from the upstairs for a better view.
Nicole, our waitress, was super friendly as we discussed suggested menu items and the new place. Yes, they wear cowboy boots, short jean shorts, and tank tops. She checked back with us multiple times, refilled our drinks and got me water when I was finished with the alcohol. Asked how our food was/how we were doing 3 different times. We paid with corporate cards and cash so she had to split the bill three ways, without issues I might add. Food was as expected. We had the boneless wings in honey BBQ and Habenero as an appetizer. Had a California burger with swiss and avocado. It came out pretty rare for my liking but we my colleague did order it that way and he didn't complain. The fries are battered steak fries, so they were good and crispy. The salad I ordered (I forgot the name) had tomato, blue cheese, and bacon on it. There was probably $10 just in toppings, it was loaded! The food wasn't ridiculously awesome but I had no reason to complain at all. Total for 2 rum drinks, a mason jar of beer and the food was $60. In this area, I don't think thats too bad. The rest of the menu was a lot of comfort food, other burgers, mac and cheese, salads and pork.
If you are going for music/drinks/party, I would say prepare for LOUD and no room to move because it seems like it can get full and noisy.
I did not visit the bathroom but maybe I should have as Jenny J. wrote that it was quite a nightmare all three times she was there. I did observe a couple newbie missteps (once a waitress, always a waitress): one food runner had to go back to the kitchen twice just to figure out where the tray of food he was carrying went, our table was asked at least twice (maybe three) times if we had ordered something while trying to set someone else's food on our table, and the table next to us (they had all their luggage with them--I understand, you are right next door to Ohare) sat there for about 15 minutes and ended up asking twice for a server. I would consider this normal for a place as big as this one (@ 6 bartenders, 5 food runners, @ 5 hostesses, and @ 25 servers, and one guy in jeans and a plaid shirt that I guessed to be the manager but hoped that I would at least see someone in business casual khakis and a 'Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill' embroidered shirt attire....I didn't) and it should continue to see improvement in these areas.
I will definitely go again, maybe to try the music this time.

This BAR (Restaurant) was your typical gimmick establishment not really any different than Hooters or Tilted Kilt. The whole wait staff are ladies in denim and tanktops with cowgirl boots. The food was above average, but the service was iffy at best. The theme of the restaurant is a big guitar and red solo cup. I would probably go back if I were in the area, but not go out of my way to get there. On that note- it is very difficult to find. I would suggest going south on River Road from like Devon or Higgins. You then turn right on Balmoral and then right into the property. There is a parking garage for $13 (Free when validated in the restaurant) and (Free) surface parking if you can find it.
