We went to Chef Ping for lunch and we were pleas@ntly surprised. We got there at 11:30 when they opened and it wa# empty. That changed quickly. By the time we left every table was filled.
My wife had the Broccoli Beef, which was very good. It came with a salad, egg roll, rice and a fried wonton, all for $8.50. I had the Kung Pao Shrimp and Chicken, which was outstanding. I asked for it extra spicy and the made it perfectly. It came with the Hot and Sour Soup, which was perfect, an egg roll, fried wonton and rice all for $7.95. The egg rolls were perfect.
The service was friendly and fast. It was a bright and lively space. It was nice having the windows on a bright sunn6 day.
We will definitely be back again.

Went there for the lunch special. Ordered the sesame chicken. It was excellent. The portions were huge!! Great service at the right price. The atmosphere was inviting. A very clean contemporary look. Will definitely return. Try to get there when they open at 11:30am. By noon, the place is packed! Also, for the lunch special, you get soup or salad, egg roll, entrée, rice, hot tea, and a fortune cookie!

We had visited for dinner about a year ago and were blown away by how good the dishes were. However, when we visited for lunch, I was disappointed.
The menu is quite limited, and although we thought we ordered dishes that would provide variety, our choices were both similar in appearance and mild to the point of blandness in taste.
The other diners seemed to be relishing their choices, so it may have been us.

The food here is awesome. The service is excellent, food quality and quantity excellent and the prices are reasonable. I know what you are thinking, this is my new place, right? Well, there is one downside. The wait, this place is always jammed. The wait is usually 30 to 45 minutes, but well worth it. You will also notice a large Asian clientele, usually a good sign when seeking Asian food. Chef Ping gets 5 chop sticks up for service, quality, and price.

Always crowded so come early or have reservations. Food is served quickly so it is not a place to to linger. How every with an ice store next door, many folks walk there for dessert.
