“.....Rick's Picks!”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

The initial impression of the museum not the best....as there was NO ONE in the lobby/ticket counter until we "yoo-hooed". We were a bit surprised at the cost of admission: it costs $10 to enter the museum - and an EXTRA $8 to see the Rick Nielsen display. And, NO, you can NOT pay $8 and just see the Cheap Trick memorabilia. So we coughed up the $36 and did see Jane the teenage dinosaur on our way to see the most fantastic display of custom guitars, event posters, family photos, etc. from (thankfully!) the greatest hoarder of all times...Rick Nielsen!
I know we spent over an hour wandering from one display to another...listening to recordings of musicians, luthiers (Yes, I DID learn a new word!), and just marveling over how this guy could hang onto what seemed to be EVERYTHING he ever came in contact with!!!
Worth the price of admission! (Sorry, Jane the dinosaur...not you)

“Dinosaur!”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Burpee is becoming deservedly well-known for it's dinosaur, Jane. It is an interesting museum, probably best suited to late-elementary or middle school kids who can appreciate dinosaurs that do not dance or sing. Burpee has neat events and exhibits that enhance the museum experience.
