We came from the west and had no idea precisely where to stay for the night. But finding the AmericInn at Princeton was a true piece of good fortune. It is a very well-run place..The staff were wonderfully welcoming and the room-price certainly most reasonable......coffee and cold drinks were readily available near reception and the whole ground floor is spacious and distinctly well appointed, with echoes of America's past in a couple of well maintained, historic canoes vertically on display in the corner and a full size stuffed coyote in searching pose on the mantle piece. There are two computers ready for guests' use and a fully functioning printer. In every way, a great deal of excellent effort has gone into making any visitor glad to be there.
The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and the cleaning staff do a brilliant job there every day, with.everything in its-place and all very clean and tidy. The breakfast was first-class with everything anybody could need to eat to start the day off perfectly. Good restaurants are close by for the evening meal and so is gas for the car. The place is run to suit and to please discerning folk who are looking for well-run, clean and very comfortable accommodations , so semis, for example, are not allowed. This really is the place to stop and we were actually sad that we had to get on with our journey the next day.
