Families from the Veteran's have donated items to make this museum very personal to the people of the area, but it also tells a general story of towns like Pontiac all over the country.

“Meaningful reminder of valor and sacrifice”
Reviewed November 3, 2011

This museum is packed full of memorabilia from all branches and dates of the US armed forces. There is a striking display of mannekins in different uniforms, and many educational and historic displays. There are many profiles of local heroes. The museum is entirely stocked and staffed by veterans. This is a good place to visit for everyone from the elderly to young people. It really brings home the enormity of the efforts made by our soldiers, but it is on a small, very personal scale.
